Witnesses sought after crash sends Bradford woman to hospital

A 20-year-old Bradford woman remains in serious but stable condition at a Toronto hospital following a Bradford collision.

At 8 a.m. on Sept. 25, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Canal Road west of 5th Line. The collision involved an eastbound farm tractor and a westbound vehicle. When officers arrived, they located the vehicle, with a female driver, in the north ditch. The woman was extricated from her car by Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services and transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.

A 41-year-old King Township man, who was operating the tractor, was uninjured.

Collision reconstruction officers processed the scene for several hours. The road was reopened around 1:30 p.m.
