‘Tis the season to care for others in our communities and South Simcoe Police want to team up with you to make a difference.

At the North and South Divisions, police are accepting donations of winter jackets, hats, gloves/mittens and boots for adults and children for the Warmer Winter initiative that has been running for the last three years. Donations are accepted 24/7 at the North Division as the bin is located in the front foyer of the station, which is accessible at all times. Donations are being accepted during regular business hours at the South Division in Bradford.

Donations will be delivered to the Innisfil Community Church on Innisfil Beach Rd. where they will be sorted and provided to community families in need.

This year, a new initiative is Socks for Seniors. Several hundred pairs of new socks are needed to ensure each resident at Bradford Valley Care Community receives a cozy gift on Christmas morning. The donation box is located in the South Division lobby.
