It’s a boy!
The first baby born in 2019 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is little Jordan Brown, who arrived at 10:15 a.m. on January 1st.
Proud parents and Barrie residents Meagan Shannon and Danny Brown welcomed their son into the world weighing six pounds and four ounces and celebrated the honour of Jordan being the first baby born at the local hospital.
Each year more than 2,000 babies are born at RVH in Barrie. While each one is a unique and beautiful miracle, the first child born in the new year garners special attention.
