Indecent act reported at Innisfil Beach Park

South Simcoe Police Service is seeking help from the public, following an indecent act at Innisfil Beach Park.

About 2:30 p.m. on July 20, police were called to a beach area for a report of an indecent act by a man on a child in a public washroom. The child was not physically injured. When officers arrived they checked the area for the suspect but he was gone.

The suspect is described as an older, white man, approximately 60 to 80-years-old, tanned skin with white hair, balding and an unusual eye. He was wearing beige shorts pulled up high, no shirt and was possibly wearing a chain necklace.

Police are reminding parents and caregivers to keep a close watch on children, especially in public washrooms. Children should try to use the buddy system as much as possible.
