Barrie Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at a convenience store located at 149 St. Vincent Street in Barrie early on the morning of June 14th.

Shortly before 2 p.m., the suspect entered the store and displayed a gun, before demanding that the clerk open the till. The suspect was able to grab cash and cigarettes before fleeing on Duckworth Street. The employee was not injured as a result of the robbery.

Police are searching for a suspect that is described as male, black with a medium build and is approximately six-feet tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a black design on the front (possibly a “Jordan Jumpman” hat) and had on a black hooded sweatshirt.

He also had black pants with a zipper or chain on the left pocket and had a black bandana with white pattern covering his face. The suspect was sporting black shoes with a tag on the heel and had a white glove on the left hand, but no glove on the right hand.
