Police need help identifying robbery suspects

The Barrie Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public with regards to an ongoing robbery investigation.

On Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, just after 6 p.m., two males were observed entering a variety store located in the Duckworth Plaza. Then on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at 12:26 p.m. the two males returned, this time with their faces covered, and made a demand for money.

When the request was not complied with, the males become somewhat frustrated and quickly left the store empty handed. They were last seen on foot as they crossed the plaza parking lot.

Both of these visits were captured on video surveillance, however the first visit clearly shows the faces of the suspects.

– Suspect No. 2: Male, white, five-foot-eight, slim build, clean shaven, black flat shoes, black Adidas pants with white stripes, blue coat, grey hood.
