Barrie Police have identified two male suspects who left a 28-year-old man with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed in downtown Barrie shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 27th with what is believed to have been an edged weapon.
Police have issued warrants of arrest for 22-year-old Vishwanath Mangal and 33-year-old Andrew Tevoi Ford Smith after the incident which took place on Dunlop St,, between Bayfield St. and Maple Avenue.
Mangal is five-foot-six, 160-pounds with black hair and brown eyes and has a large woman Grim Reaper tattoo on his left forearm and a Chucky the Clown tattoo on his right forearm. Ford Smith is five-foot-10, 154-pounds and also has black hair with brown eyes.
The two suspects, who are both from the Toronto area, are wanted for attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
