Be prepared when a life is on the line.

In celebration of Heart Month, County of Simcoe Paramedic Services, in partnership with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, is hosting a Save-A-Life Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation training course on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Bradford Community Centre.

Those participating will receive instruction in a Level A course, which includes adult and child CPR, choking emergencies and use of automated external defibrillators (AED).

While there is no cost to attend, participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the local food bank.

Space is limited, so those interested are asked to register in advance. To register, visit or call 705-735-6901 or toll-free at 1-800-263-3199.

The Bradford Community Centre is located on 125 Simcoe Road.
