Community engagement and involvement is a crucial part of the Barrie Police Service’s Strategic Plan.
Which is why they’re looking to get your feedback and share what you consider the most important issues facing the local community for Barrie Police over the next three years.
Barrie Police Service have begun the process of developing the next Strategic Plan that will cover its priorities from 2020 through to 2022. Staff will be meeting with partner agencies to discuss how they can work together to keep the local community safe.
Members of the public wishing to share their feedback and get involved, can complete an online survey at the Barrie Police website (barriepolice.ca) or pick up a hard copy of the survey at its headquarters located at 29 Sperling Drive.
The survey, which only takes a few minutes to complete, will gather input on the community’s sense of safety and satisfaction with the Barrie Police Service. This is an opportunity to share your views and be heard in the early stages of the development of the Strategic Plan.
The process is a lengthy and detailed one and also involves internal surveys, meetings with the Barrie Police Services Board and a planning session with senior staff members. Plans are to share the new Strategic Plan sometime in early 2020.
