Wondering how to advance your career or land your dream job – on your own schedule? If you’re thinking about updating your skills or continuing your education, you probably have lots of questions. Georgian College staff will help you explore your options and provide answers at Part-time Studies Info Night.
“To stay competitive in today’s fast-paced work environment, it’s important for everyone to update their skills on a continual basis,” said Mary Johnston, part-time studies and workforce development director. “At Georgian, we make professional development and lifelong learning easy by offering a large selection of part-time courses in flexible formats.”
Drop by the Barrie or Owen Sound campuses between 5 and 7 p.m. on May 15 to learn more about part-time studies programs. Courses include bookkeeping, photography, practical nursing, project management, social media for business, therapeutic recreation and more. You will also learn about part-time program and course options, what it means to be a part-time student, how to enrol and all the available resources to help you get started.
The fee for any part-time applications completed that evening will be waived.
