City turns Meridian Place into Raptors viewing party

Meridian Place will be the place to be for Barrie Raptor fans looking to watch game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. The game will air live on a large screen in Meridian Place so fans can gather and cheer on the Raptors. The game will broadcast rain or shine starting at 8 p.m.

The city has made a special exemption to the noise by-law in anticipation that the game may go later than 11 p.m.

Located in downtown Barrie, Meridian Place is a natural fit to host energetic basketball fans. Completed in 2018, this space hosts some of the city’s most exciting events, such as the upcoming Craft Beer & BBQ Festival and Canada Day festivities.

Downtown Barrie has plenty of parking available. Visit wwwbarrie.ca/Parking to see a map of parking lots.
