M*A*S*H Bash: great time, great cause, great fun

M*A*S*H Bash always provides great fun while supporting a great cause. Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) was the winner at the 31st annual M*A*S*H Bash ski and snowboard day. The proceeds from the Feb. 2  event will support the RVH Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health Program. This year’s event, held at Snow Valley Ski Resort, featured on-hill events, attractions, live music, giveaways, as well as skiing and snowboarding. More beer sales coming to Simcoe

Simcoe County residents will have more opportunities to buy beer at grocery stores. The provincial government has announced plans to add five more locations across the county with sales of beer and wine to begin in April. The grocery stores that will be added include: Food Basics, 9226 Highway 93 in Midland Fresh Co., 55 Mountain Rd. in Collingwood Loblaws, 11 Byrne Dr. in Barrie Walmart, 1175 Murphy Rd. in Orillia Walmart, 545 Holland St. W. Red Cross Simcoe Muskoka carries on

The Simcoe Muskoka branch of the Canadian Red Cross made it into the headlines over the holiday season, not for the great work that they do but because of the vandalism to one of their transport vehicles. Officials informed the Simcoe Review that clients of the transportation program were accommodated following the incidents, with very few cancellations. The vehicle in question was a loaner from the Toronto branch and they are currently working to find a replacement for the office impacted by the situation.
