County of Simcoe + Amazon = North of Ordinary

The County of Simcoe is open for business and received support from the Government of Ontario towards the County’s efforts to secure the development of Amazon’s newest North American facility within Simcoe County borders. Amazon, which currently has Canadian locations in Toronto and Vancouver and employs more than 380,000 people around the globe, recently sent out a request for proposals to identify a location and partner municipality for its newest North American facility. The Clothes Line reopens after getting a fresh makeover

A main source of funds raised for CONTACT Community Services (CONTACT), The Clothes Line, reopened after getting a fresh makeover courtesy of the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The Oct. 13 ceremony, attended by Mayor Rick Milne was possible due to the $7,500 grant awarded to CONTACT for the renovations. This included the installation of new floors, walls, ceilings, a refurbished kitchen and a modernized work space.
