Museum on the Boyne has lots to offer this Summer

New Tecumseth residents of all ages will have lots of activities to look forward to this summer at the Museum on the Boyne. Programs are offered for adults aged 18+, Children aged 5 – 12 and Preschoolers aged 0-4 that fall within arts and culture, fitness and sports. New Tecumseth’s 2017 ward boundary review continues and you’re invited to learn more and to share your input. At Monday’s meeting (June 12), Council selected one of four new ward boundary options. Public input sessions will be held in each of the Town’s communities – Alliston, Beeton and Tottenham – and residents are encouraged to attend and share your input on the proposed new ward boundaries for New Tecumseth. Summer marine patrols have begun on Lake Simcoe. South Simcoe Police officers will be onboard the John Wardrop II, as well as our personal water craft, checking boats and boaters for safety compliance. Under the Canada Shipping Act, each vessel must have a personal floatation device (PFD) of appropriate size in good condition for every person on board.
